North Ridgeville has changed a lot over the past couple of decades. What used to be farmland stretching along Route 20 and Center Ridge Road is now one of the fastest-growing communities on Cleveland’s far west side, with new subdivisions, new schools, and a steady stream of families moving in for the extra space. That growth is exactly why tents have become such a natural fit here — newer homes in North Ridgeville tend to sit on bigger lots than you’ll find in the older, inner-ring suburbs closer to the city, and bigger lots mean more room to actually host something in the backyard instead of squeezing a party onto a patio.

CLE Bounce Houses has served North Ridgeville families for years with bounce houses, water slides, and inflatable rentals, and we’re expanding that same service into tent rentals — high-peak tents, plus table and chair packages, delivered and set up so you don’t have to think about logistics on top of everything else that goes into planning an event.

If you’re in one of North Ridgeville’s newer developments, chances are your yard has more usable open space than a typical older-suburb lot — which opens up options that aren’t practical everywhere. A 20×30 or 20×40 tent can comfortably anchor a graduation open house or a big family reunion without crowding the deck, the play set, or the fence line. Even in North Ridgeville’s more established neighborhoods near Center Ridge or Root Road, yards tend to run a bit deeper than what you’d see in older streetcar-suburb layouts, which usually gives us good tent placement options once we know your yard dimensions.

We’ll walk through your space with you — or over the phone, if that’s easier — to figure out what size tent actually makes sense before you commit to anything.

High-Peak Tents: The Right Fit for Newer Lots and Larger Yards

We use high-peak tents rather than basic pole tents or pop-up canopies. The peaked roofline sheds rain better than a flat-top canopy, gives guests more headroom (especially helpful once you add hanging string lights or draping), and creates a more finished look for anything from a graduation party to a wedding reception. High-peak tents also don’t rely on a center pole standing in the middle of your setup, which keeps the space underneath open for tables, a dance floor, or a buffet line — something worth thinking about if you’re trying to make the most of a specific yard shape.

Tent Sizes and Packages Available

Our current lineup is expanding as we build out our tent inventory, so ask us about current availability when you request a quote.

20×20 High-Peak Tent / Package Our original and currently available tent size, ideal for a mid-sized backyard party, a smaller graduation open house, or a family gathering. Rent the tent alone, or choose the package version, which bundles in 48 chairs and 6 tables — seating up to 48 guests — a straightforward way to cover seating and tent in one order instead of coordinating rentals from more than one place.

20×30 High-Peak Tent / Package A step up in size, well suited to larger graduation parties, backyard weddings, or community gatherings that need more breathing room. The package pairs the tent with 64 chairs and 8 tables, seating up to 64 guests.

20×40 High-Peak Tent / Package A large-format option built for bigger events — larger weddings, sizable reunions, or school and community functions — with 96 chairs and 12 tables included in the package, seating up to 96 guests.

20×60 High-Peak Tent / Package — Our largest current offering at 1,200 square feet of covered space, available alone or as a package with tables and chairs bundled in. Built for big receptions, larger community functions, and school or corporate events.

Tables and chairs are only available as part of a tent package, not as a standalone rental — so if seating is part of your plan, the package pricing is generally the more efficient route compared to sourcing a tent and furniture separately. We’re glad to walk you through the value comparison against renting or buying those pieces individually at typical market rates.

Setup on New Sod, Slopes, and Hard Surfaces

A lot of North Ridgeville’s newest neighborhoods have lawns that are only a few years old, and new sod can be a little more delicate than an established lawn. We’re happy to talk through placement so we’re staking (where staking is used) in a spot that won’t leave a mark on a yard you just finished landscaping.

For driveways, patios, or other paved areas where staking isn’t an option, we also offer weighted anchoring — concrete blocks and water barrels — as an alternative to ground stakes. That can open up tent placement on concrete, asphalt, or paver surfaces instead of grass only, which is worth asking about if your ideal spot for the tent happens to be the driveway or a patio rather than the lawn. Ask us about hard-surface setup when you request a quote — we’re continuing to build out our stock of anchoring equipment, so flagging your surface in advance helps us make sure we have the right blocks or barrels ready for your date.

Events We Help North Ridgeville Host

Backyard Parties & Family Gatherings — With larger lots common across newer North Ridgeville construction, a backyard tent can turn a standard get-together into a real event, with shade, defined space, and shelter if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Graduation Parties — Between North Ridgeville High School and the district’s growth in general, graduation season brings a wave of open-house parties across the city. A tent gives you a dedicated area for food, seating, and guests without rearranging your entire house.

Weddings — Whether it’s a backyard ceremony, a reception on a larger property, or an outdoor gathering tied to a nearby venue, a high-peak tent provides a clean, weatherproof backdrop with room for tables, a head table, or a dance floor.

School, Church & Community Events — As North Ridgeville’s population grows, so does the calendar of school fundraisers, church festivals, and neighborhood gatherings. Tents give organizers weather-proof, flexible space for these events without the cost of renting an indoor hall.

Delivery to North Ridgeville and the Surrounding Area

North Ridgeville sits on the far west side of the Cleveland metro, closer to the Lorain County line than many of the communities we’ve traditionally served — but it’s a market we deliver to regularly, and order history backs that up. We ask for at least 5 days’ notice to book a tent rental anywhere in our service area, and because North Ridgeville is on the outer edge of our delivery footprint, we’d simply encourage North Ridgeville customers to reach out a little earlier in the planning process to lock in a delivery window, especially during busy graduation and wedding-season stretches.

Planning Your North Ridgeville Tent Rental

Tents aren’t a same-day, up-and-down affair — we typically deliver and set up 1 to 3 days before your event and return 1 to 3 days afterward to take it down, so plan your yard access and any landscaping or mowing around that window. Beyond that, we’re happy to help you think through layout, seating, and whether a package or an à la carte tent makes more sense for what you’re planning.

If you’re ready to get started, request a quote and let us know your event date, guest count, and yard details — we’ll help you figure out the right tent size and setup for your North Ridgeville event.

Good To Know

North Ridgeville Tent Rental FAQs

What size tent do I need for my North Ridgeville event?

Seated capacity follows the chairs included in each package: the 20×20 seats up to 48 guests, the 20×30 up to 64, and the 20×40 up to 96. The 20×60 is our largest at 1,200 square feet of covered space. If you are adding a buffet table, DJ, or dance floor, size up — or tell us your guest count when you request a quote and we will help you land on the right size.

What tent sizes are available?

Currently 20×20, 20×30, 20×40, and 20×60 high-peak tents, each available alone or as a package with matching tables and chairs.

How much space do I need?

Plan for about 5 feet of clearance on each side. A 20×20 tent, for example, needs a 25ft x 25ft area with roughly 20ft of overhead clearance — no low branches or power lines.

Do you deliver and set up tents in North Ridgeville, Ohio?

Yes — North Ridgeville is a market we deliver to regularly, and we handle full setup and takedown. See Delivery to North Ridgeville and the Surrounding Area above for service-area details.

Can a tent be set up on my driveway or a paved lot instead of grass?

In many cases, yes — weighted anchoring with concrete blocks or water barrels lets us set up on concrete, asphalt, or paver surfaces where ground stakes aren’t an option. See Setup on New Sod, Slopes, and Hard Surfaces above for the full details.

Do you need to know where utility lines are?

Yes — we stake tents into the ground, so we need to avoid buried irrigation, invisible dog fence, and utility lines. Let us know about anything underground when you book, and we’ll plan the placement around it.

Can I rent tables and chairs without a tent?

No — tables and chairs are only available as part of a tent package, not as a standalone rental.

When is the tent set up and taken down relative to my event?

Typically one to three days before your event, with takedown one to three days after. See Planning Your North Ridgeville Tent Rental above for how to plan around that window.

What’s your rain or weather policy for tents?

Our tent weather policy is separate from our bounce-house rain policy. Normal rain and heat aren’t grounds for cancellation or a refund, since a properly set-up tent is designed to handle both. We reserve the right to delay, modify, or cancel a setup for safety in severe weather — sustained winds or gusts above roughly 20 mph, lightning, hail, or other dangerous conditions — and a cancellation we initiate for those reasons carries no fee. If you cancel because ordinary rain is forecast, our standard cancellation policy applies instead.

Do you offer lighting or side walls?

Yes, both are available as add-ons — useful for evening events or extra wind, sun, or privacy coverage.

How far in advance do I need to book?

At least 5 days’ notice, with no minimum order. See Delivery to North Ridgeville and the Surrounding Area above for lead-time details.

How much does a tent rental cost?

Pricing varies by tent size and whether you choose the tent alone or a package with tables and chairs. Each tent above links straight to its booking page, where you’ll always see current rates — or see our Tent Packages page. Request a quote with your date and guest count for exact pricing.
