20×60 High-Peak Tent — Our largest current offering at 1,200 square feet of covered space, for church, school, or community-scale events that have the room for it. Available standalone or as a package with tables and chairs bundled in.

A high-peak tent (versus a basic frame tent) gives you real interior clearance — steep, peaked roof lines instead of a low, flat ceiling — which matters more in a tight yard, since you’re not sacrificing usable floor space to accommodate the roof structure. It also sheds rain and wind more effectively than a flat-top canopy, which is worth knowing if your event sits close to the lake, where breezes off Lake Erie can be noticeably stiffer than a few miles inland.

Small Yard? Here’s How We Make a Tent Work Anyway

This is the part of the process where Lakewood differs most from a lot of our other service areas. A 20×20 footprint needs more than just 20×20 of open ground — it needs clearance on all sides for stakes or anchors, plus a delivery path wide enough to walk the tent frame and hardware through. In a neighborhood built around narrow side yards, shared driveways, and fences close to the property line, that clearance is the first thing we check.

Measuring your space before you book. Before we finalize a size, we’ll talk through your yard’s actual dimensions — not just the footprint of the tent, but the access route from the street or driveway to where it will stand. If your backyard is tight, a 20×20 in an L-shaped layout using part of the driveway or side yard is often more realistic than trying to force a larger tent into a space it wasn’t built for.

Driveway and street-side setup options. Many Lakewood properties have more usable driveway space than backyard space. A tent set up on a driveway, or partially spanning driveway and yard, is a practical option we discuss regularly with Lakewood customers — particularly for graduation parties and driveway/garage-adjacent gatherings, which are common here. If your event plans involve any use of the tree lawn, sidewalk, or on-street parking area, that’s a city of Lakewood question we recommend confirming directly with the city before booking that kind of setup, and we’re glad to work around whatever the city requires.

A meaningful share of Lakewood housing is two-family doubles, duplexes, or multi-unit buildings rather than standalone single-family homes, and a good number of residents rent rather than own. If you’re planning a tent for a shared yard, a duplex lot, or a condo/apartment common area, a couple of things are worth sorting out before booking: confirming with your landlord, property manager, or HOA that a temporary tent installation is allowed, and coordinating timing with anyone sharing the yard or driveway with you. We’re happy to talk through logistics for these shared-property situations — we just can’t obtain that permission on your behalf, so it’s worth locking down before your delivery date.

Tables, Chairs & Tent Packages

Tables and chairs are available exclusively as part of a tent package — we don’t rent tables or chairs on their own. Each package pairs a tent size with a matching set of chairs and tables (48 chairs / 6 tables with the 20×20, 64 chairs / 8 tables with the 20×30, and 96 chairs / 12 tables with the 20×40), which is generally simpler and more cost-effective than sourcing a tent, tables, and chairs separately from multiple vendors. If you already own tables and chairs or are borrowing them, the standalone tent option is available on its own.

Common Lakewood Events We Help With

Lakewood’s calendar tends to cluster around a few recurring event types: spring and early-summer graduation open houses (Lakewood’s schools send a lot of families into backyard-party season at once), backyard birthday parties and family reunions, small backyard or driveway weddings and receptions, and neighborhood or block gatherings that spill across more than one yard. Weather, Setup Timing & What to Expect

Tents are typically delivered and set up one to three days before your event and taken down one to three days afterward — this is not a same-day setup-and-teardown service, so plan your yard or driveway access around that window. Normal rain and heat aren’t grounds for cancellation, since a properly set-up tent still holds up fine in both — we’ll only delay, modify, or cancel a setup, at no cancellation fee, for genuinely unsafe conditions like sustained or gusting winds over about 20 mph, lightning, or hail. Given Lakewood’s proximity to Lake Erie, wind is worth planning for regardless of season; it’s one more reason we take anchoring seriously rather than treating it as an afterthought. If you cancel on your own for ordinary forecasted rain, our standard cancellation policy applies, and note that our bounce-house rain policy does not carry over to tent rentals.
