What a Brooklyn Bounce House Rental Actually Involves
Brooklyn sits just southwest of downtown Cleveland in Cuyahoga County, and most of the parties we deliver to here are the ordinary kind: a birthday in a backyard off a residential street, a graduation open house, a school field day, a church picnic, or a community event at a local park.
Space, surface and anchoring
Give the inflatable a clear, reasonably flat footprint with room to walk around it, and keep it away from fences, low branches, decks, and anything sharp. We set up on grass, cement, concrete, asphalt, or indoors — there is a different anchoring system for each. On grass, the inflatable is staked down with long steel stakes. On any hard surface or indoors, it is anchored with sandbags instead. Tell us the surface when you book so the crew arrives with the right hardware rather than improvising in your driveway.
Power has to reach the setup spot
The blower runs continuously the whole time the inflatable is up, so power must be within 50 feet of where it is set. Farther than that and the inflatable will not hold full pressure, which is a genuine safety problem, not a cosmetic one. If the only outlet is across the yard or the site has no power at all — which is common at park shelters — tell us in advance and we will add a generator to the order.
Brooklyn parks, church lots and school grounds
We deliver to public spaces, with a couple of rules attached. Park events without power need a generator, and there is a park fee on top of the rental. Permits are handled by the city the park sits in, so call city hall for the park you have in mind and ask what they require; if the city wants to be added to our insurance for the day, that is an additional charge we will quote you. One thing to plan around: a rental in a public area cannot be kept overnight. It gets picked up at the end of your event, and no later than 6pm.
How the rental window works
The start time you put on your order is the time the inflatable is guaranteed to be up and running. Our routes begin at 7am, so the crew arrives somewhere between 7am and one hour before your start time — we ask for a three-hour delivery window to guarantee it. Book a 2pm party and the truck shows up between 7am and 1pm. We also reserve the right to deliver up to 48 hours early when the route calls for it, and you will hear from us well ahead if that happens.
The end time on your order is the time you are guaranteed to keep the inflatable. Our latest pickup is 6pm, because of driver safety and early darkness in spring and fall. If your event runs past that, book the overnight option and we collect it after 7am the next morning. There is also an all-weekend option: delivered Friday before 6pm, picked back up Monday after 7am. For overnight and all-weekend rentals, deflate it at night and re-inflate it early the next morning so it is dry and ready when the crew arrives to inspect and clean it.
Choosing between dry only and wet or dry
This is the real fork in the road, and it is why the lineup above splits the way it does. Seven of our inflatables are dry only — the four castles and three of the combos. Seventeen are wet-or-dry combos, which can be set up with water running down the slide or completely dry.
Two things to know. Wet setups are only available from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend; outside that window every inflatable runs dry regardless of the weather. And we do not supply the hose — you provide a garden hose from your spigot to the setup spot. A bounce house marked dry only must never be used with water, in any season, and a wet setup outside the wet season counts the same way; either one results in a charge to the card on file. If you are unsure which side of the line your event falls on, say so on the quote and we will point you at the right ones.

Does the bounce house have to go on grass?

What is the difference between a dry-only bounce house and a wet/dry combo?
Dry-only inflatables are never used with water under any circumstances. Wet/dry combos are built for water and can be set up either way. Of the 24 bounce houses in our lineup, seven are dry only (the four castles plus three combos) and seventeen are wet/dry. Water use is seasonal: wet rentals run from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend only, and outside that window every inflatable is set up dry. Using a dry-only inflatable with water, or any inflatable used wet outside the season, results in a charge to the card on file.
Do you supply the hose for a wet setup?
No — you provide a garden hose running from your water spigot to the setup spot. Make sure the hose reaches before the crew arrives. If you are renting overnight or all weekend with a wet setup, turn the water off before deflating it at night, then re-inflate it early the next morning so it has time to dry before pickup.
What happens if the weather turns?
Inflatables cannot be operated safely when wind speeds exceed 15 miles per hour, so we reserve the right to cancel or postpone until winds drop below that. Rain on its own usually is not a problem — if your party is still on, so are we. High winds, lightning and thunderstorms are the exceptions. Weather is also the only exception to our non-refundable deposit; temperature is not.
Can you deliver to a park or public space in Brooklyn?
Yes. Park events without power require a generator, and there is a park fee in addition to the rental. Permits come from the city the park belongs to, so contact city hall for that park to find out what they require. If the city asks to be added to our insurance for the day of the event, that carries an additional charge. Remember that public-area rentals cannot be kept overnight.

How far in advance should I book, and do you take a deposit?
Weekend dates in summer go first, especially for the wet/dry combos, so book as early as you can lock in a date. A non-refundable deposit reserves your rental and is applied to your final balance. We contact you the week of your event about the remaining balance, which is due before setup — card by payment link, or cash to the delivery driver.
