North Olmsted sits on Cleveland’s west side in Cuyahoga County, and it’s a city built for gathering in the yard. Between the established post-war neighborhoods closer to Lorain Road and the newer construction further out toward the Olmsted Falls line, most homes here still have the thing a tent rental depends on: real outdoor space — a backyard, a side lawn, or at least a driveway big enough to host family and friends. CLE Bounce Houses delivers and sets up high-peak tent rentals for backyard parties, graduations, weddings, and community events throughout North Olmsted, along with the table and chair packages that go with them.

We’ve already been renting to families and organizations in this part of the west side for bounce houses and inflatables — North Olmsted is one of our established service areas — and we’re expanding that same delivery footprint to cover tents as we grow that side of the business.

Why a High-Peak Tent Works Well for North Olmsted Events

A lot of people picture a “party tent” as the low, boxy pole-tent style with a center support pole poking up in the middle of the dance floor or dinner tables. A high-peak tent is a different structure entirely — it uses a peaked, cathedral-style roofline supported from the frame and sidewalls rather than a pole planted in the middle of your seating, which is the main reason people upgrade to it.

More headroom, no center pole. Without a pole in the middle, you get a fully open floor plan. That matters for anything with a layout to protect — a head table and dance floor for a wedding reception, rows of folding chairs facing a podium for a graduation open house, or a buffet line you don’t want guests squeezing around. The peaked roof also sheds rain better than a flat-top tent, which is a real consideration given how often a Northeast Ohio forecast changes between the week you book and the day of the event.

A cleaner look for backyards, driveways, and shared spaces. North Olmsted lots tend to be sized for comfortable backyard living rather than sprawling estate grounds, so a tent that uses its footprint efficiently — square corners, no guy-wires eating up half the yard — tends to fit better against a patio, garage, or property line than an older-style pole tent would.

Tent Sizes & Packages Available

Our lineup is built around four high-peak sizes:

  • 20×20 High-Peak Tent / Package — the 20×20 is our current standard size and comes as either a tent-only rental or a package with 48 chairs and 6 tables included.
  • 20×30 High-Peak Tent / Package — a step up for larger backyard gatherings or events with a sit-down meal, pairing with 64 chairs and 8 tables in the package option.
  • 20×40 High-Peak Tent / Package — sized for bigger weddings, school or community functions, and company events, with a 96-chair, 12-table package option.
  • 20×60 High-Peak Tent / Package — our largest size at 1,200 sq. ft. of covered space, with tables and chairs bundled in on the package option. Built for receptions, company events, and large community gatherings.

Seated capacity follows the chair counts built into each package — the 20×20 seats up to 48 guests, the 20×30 up to 64, and the 20×40 up to 96, while the 20×60 is our largest at 1,200 square feet of covered space. Tell us your expected guest count and we’ll help you land on the right footprint, whether you’re planning rows of chairs, round tables, or a mix of seated and standing space.

Tent-only vs. package pricing — what you’re comparing. Tables and chairs are only available as part of a tent package, not as a standalone rental, so when you’re comparing our pricing to sourcing a tent, tables, and chairs separately from two or three vendors, the package price is meant to be measured against that full combined cost — one delivery, one setup crew, one bill — rather than against a bare tent price alone. For exact current pricing on any size, request a quote and we’ll confirm what’s available for your date.

Setting Up a Tent on North Olmsted Properties

Grass yards vs. driveways and patios. Traditional tent setups use stakes driven into the ground, which works well on the grass yards common throughout North Olmsted’s residential streets. But not every usable space is grass — some homeowners want the tent over a driveway, patio, or paved area instead, especially if the yard is sloped or landscaped. For those situations we offer add-on anchoring with concrete blocks or water barrels instead of stakes, which means a tent can often go up on asphalt, concrete, or pavers without damaging the surface. We’re continuing to expand this weighted-anchor equipment, so ask us about hard-surface setup when you request your quote — if your setup spot isn’t a flat grass lawn, mention it up front and we’ll confirm what anchoring is available for your date and plan the right method for your site.

Space planning around mature trees, fences, and utility lines. Many North Olmsted neighborhoods were built out in the mid-20th century and have had decades for trees, fences, and landscaping to mature — which is great for shade but does mean tent placement sometimes has to work around a tree canopy, a property-line fence, or overhead lines rather than a wide-open field. Walking your yard (in person or over photos/measurements) before delivery day helps us confirm the tent will fit cleanly and clear of anything overhead.

Events We Help North Olmsted Hosts Plan For

Tents work for pretty much any outdoor gathering that’s bigger than a patio can comfortably hold:

  • Backyard parties — birthdays, retirement parties, graduation open houses, and family reunions that have outgrown the deck.
  • Weddings — backyard ceremonies and receptions, or a covered staging/gift area paired with an indoor reception hall.
  • Graduation season events — a natural fit given how many North Olmsted families host open houses in the same late-May/early-June window each year.
  • School and community events — field days, festivals, and fundraisers hosted by local schools, churches, and civic groups.
  • Corporate and company events — employee picnics or client-appreciation events for North Olmsted-area businesses.

Each of these event types has its own planning considerations (guest flow, seating layout, weather contingencies), which we cover in more detail on our dedicated event-type pages linked below.

Delivery, Setup Timing & What to Expect

Tents aren’t a same-day setup-and-teardown item the way a bounce house often is. Typically, we deliver and set up the tent one to three days before your event and return to take it down one to three days after, which gives your yard a finished look well before guests arrive and avoids a rushed teardown while you’re still cleaning up. There’s no minimum order for a tent rental, and we ask for at least 5 days’ notice to book — though reaching out with your date as early as you can is still the safer move, since tent season in Northeast Ohio books up fastest through the late-spring and summer months. You can request a quote online, or just text or call us to lock in your date.

Note also that our tent weather policy is separate from our bounce-house rain policy. Normal rain and heat aren’t grounds for cancellation or a refund, since a properly set-up tent is designed to handle both. We do reserve the right to delay, modify, or cancel a setup for safety in severe weather — sustained winds or gusts above roughly 20 mph, lightning, hail, or similar dangerous conditions — and a cancellation we initiate for those reasons carries no fee. If you cancel on your own because ordinary rain is in the forecast, that falls under our standard cancellation policy instead.

Good To Know

North Olmsted Tent Rental FAQs

What size tent do we need for our guest count?

Seated capacity lines up with the chairs included in each package: 48 for the 20×20, 64 for the 20×30, and 96 for the 20×40; the 20×60 is our largest at 1,200 square feet of covered space. Share your expected guest count and seating style (rows, round tables, standing reception) when you reach out, and we’ll help match you to the right size.

Do you deliver tents to North Olmsted?

Yes. North Olmsted is part of our established delivery area — we already serve this part of the west side for inflatable rentals and are extending tent delivery to the same footprint. There’s no minimum order required to book a tent.

What tent sizes are available?

Currently 20×20, 20×30, 20×40, and 20×60 high-peak tents, each available alone or as a package with matching tables and chairs.

What’s the difference between a high-peak tent and a regular party tent?

A high-peak tent uses a peaked, frame-supported roofline instead of a center pole, which opens up the entire floor for seating, dancing, or a buffet line and sheds rain more effectively than a flat-top pole tent.

How much space do I need in my yard?

Plan for about 5 feet of clearance on each side. A 20×20 tent, for example, needs a 25ft x 25ft area with roughly 20ft of overhead clearance — no low branches or power lines.

Can a tent be set up on our driveway or patio instead of the grass?

In many cases, yes — we offer concrete block and water barrel anchoring as an alternative to ground stakes, which can allow setup on concrete, asphalt, or paver surfaces. We’re actively expanding this anchoring equipment, so ask us about hard-surface setup for your specific site when you request a quote and we’ll confirm what’s available for your date.

Do you need to know where utility lines are?

Yes — we stake tents into the ground, so tell us about buried irrigation, invisible dog fence, or utility lines when you book. See Setting Up a Tent on North Olmsted Properties above for the full rundown.

Can we rent just tables and chairs without a tent?

No — tables and chairs are only available as part of a tent package, not as a standalone rental.

When do you set up and take down the tent relative to our event date?

Tents are typically delivered and set up one to three days before the event and taken down one to three days afterward, rather than on the same day as the event itself.

What happens if it rains?

Our tent weather/cancellation policy is separate from our bounce-house rain policy. Normal rain and heat don’t qualify for a cancellation or refund, since a properly set-up tent still functions in those conditions. We reserve the right to delay, modify, or cancel a setup for safety in severe weather — sustained winds or gusts over about 20 mph, lightning, hail, or other dangerous conditions — and cancellations we initiate for those reasons carry no fee. If you cancel because of ordinary forecasted rain, our standard cancellation policy applies instead.

Do you offer lighting or side walls?

Yes, both are available as add-ons — useful for evening events or extra wind, sun, and privacy coverage.

How far in advance should we book a tent for a North Olmsted event?

We ask for at least 5 days’ notice to book a tent. Generally, the earlier you book — especially for graduation season or summer weekends — the more likely your preferred date and tent size will be available.

How much does a tent rental cost?

Pricing varies by tent size and whether you choose the tent alone or a package with tables and chairs. Each tent above links straight to its booking page, where you’ll always see current rates — or see our Tent Packages page. Request a quote with your date and guest count for exact pricing.
