How Much Does It Cost to Rent a Bounce House in Cleveland?
Short answer: a standard bounce house in Greater Cleveland runs from about $229 for a same-day rental up to roughly $499 for a themed combo unit over a full weekend. But “how much does a bounce house cost” is really four different questions, because CLE Bounce Houses rents four different kinds of inflatables – bounce houses, water slides, obstacle courses and inflatable games, and a mechanical bull – and each has its own price range. This guide breaks down real, current pricing for all four, plus what typically gets billed on top of the rental itself.
Every price below is exactly what is showing live on our product pages as of this writing. Because our booking system (InflatableOffice) prices rentals dynamically based on date, season, and rental length, treat these as accurate current ranges rather than a fixed quote – your exact total is always confirmed when you select your date at checkout or request a quote.
Bounce House Rental Prices
Our bounce house lineup splits into simple open castles and themed combo units (a bounce area plus an attached slide). Pricing scales with that split, not with the theme:
- Open castle-style bounce houses (Classic Castle, Magic Castle, Princess Castle, Tropical Inferno): $229 for a standard rental of up to 6 hours, $279 for an overnight rental, $379 for a whole weekend (Friday to Monday).
- Dry-only combo units (Island Oasis, Green Marble, Red/Blue Castle): starting around $299 for up to 6 hours.
- Wet/dry themed combos (Unicorn, Dinosaur, Mermaid, Minecraft, Super Mario, Galaxies Away, and most of the themed lineup): $349 for up to 6 hours, $399 overnight, $499 for a whole weekend.
So across the full bounce house category, expect a range of roughly $229 to $499 depending on which unit you pick and how long you keep it. See the full lineup with live pricing on our bounce house rental page, or read more about local delivery on our Cleveland bounce house rental page.
Water Slide Rental Prices
Water slides are priced by size. Our lineup starts at 16 feet and runs up to 33-foot dual-lane slides:
- 16-foot single-lane slides (Congo Rainforest, Infernal Wave, Robot, Mega Blocks): $349 for up to 6 hours, $399 overnight, $499 for a whole weekend.
- 19-foot single-lane slides: starting around $399.
- 19-foot double-lane slides: starting around $499.
- 22-foot double-lane slide with an attached slip and slide: starting around $649.
- 24-foot single-lane slides: starting around $499.
- 29-foot and 33-foot dual-lane slides are only offered as all-weekend rentals, listed from $999 to $1,249.
Across the category, water slides run roughly $349 to $1,249. The larger all-weekend slides price differently once you select an actual date in the booking system – day-rate and multi-day figures can vary from the listed starting price, so the number you see at checkout for your specific weekend is the one that counts. See current pricing and sizes on our water slide rental page, or our Cleveland water slide rental page.
Obstacle Course and Inflatable Game Prices
This category covers both full obstacle courses and standalone inflatable games, so it has the widest price spread on the site:
- Standalone games (Mini Hoop Shot, Axe Throw, 3-in-1 Carnival Game, Double Lane Slam Dunk, Wrecking Ball): starting as low as $149 for up to 6 hours.
- 30-foot obstacle course: $299 for up to 6 hours, $349 overnight, $449 for a whole weekend.
- 40-foot obstacle courses (Retro, Marble Mania, Ultimate Ninja Warrior): starting around $399.
- 60- and 62-foot obstacle courses (wet/dry): starting around $599.
- 101-foot obstacle course (wet/dry): $799 for up to 6 hours, $849 overnight, $949 for a whole weekend – the top of the category.
So the obstacle course and game category spans roughly $149 to $949, the widest range of the four categories because it includes everything from a single tabletop-style game to a 101-foot course. Browse current pricing on our obstacle course and inflatable game rental page.
Mechanical Bull Rental Prices
The mechanical bull prices differently than the inflatables above, because it comes with an operator rather than being dropped off and left with you. Current pricing is $899 for a 2-hour rental, $1,249 for up to 4 hours, and $299 for each additional hour beyond that. See full details on our mechanical bull product page or our Cleveland mechanical bull rental page.
What Affects the Price
Within each category, a few factors move the number:
- Size. A 16-foot water slide and a 33-foot dual-lane slide are both “water slides,” but they are priced very differently. The same is true comparing a 30-foot obstacle course to a 101-foot one.
- Rental length. Most bounce houses, slides, and obstacle courses are priced on three tiers: a same-day rental of up to 6 hours, an overnight rental (picked up the next morning), and a whole-weekend rental (Friday to Monday). Each step up costs more.
- Wet vs. dry. Wet-capable combo units and courses aren’t priced differently for running wet vs. dry, but our wet rental season runs Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend – outside that window, wet-capable units are simply rented dry.
- Day of week and season. Our booking system prices live off the actual date you select, and summer Saturdays are our busiest – and priciest – slots. A midweek or off-season date can come in lower than a peak Saturday for the same unit.
- Add-ons. A generator (if your power source is more than 50 feet from the setup spot) is an added cost on top of the unit price.
What’s Included vs. What’s Billed Separately
The listed rental price includes the unit itself, a 50-foot extension cord, the blower, and safety stakes to secure it to the ground. Delivery, setup, and pickup by our crew are part of every rental. A few things are not folded into that listed price and are calculated or applied separately:
- Delivery is not bundled into the listed unit price. Every product page states plainly that delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location, and our delivery area page confirms that extra fees can apply the farther you are outside our core service area. The $229–$1,249 figures above are unit rental prices only – your delivery fee is added on top once you enter your address.
- A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date, per our FAQ page. It’s deducted from your final balance, not an extra charge, but it is due upfront.
- A generator costs extra if your power source is more than 50 feet from the setup area.
- Park fees. Parks without power require a generator plus a $200 park fee, and if the city wants to be added to our insurance for the day, there’s an additional $99 charge, per our FAQ.
- Potential penalty fees exist for specific situations, published on our Things to Know page: a $150–$750 per-unit cleaning fee if prohibited items (silly string, face paint, food, etc.) are used on or near a unit; a $250 fee if a dry-only unit is used wet or a unit is used wet outside the wet rental season; and $100–$500 fees connected to moving equipment after it’s been set up. These aren’t standard charges – they only apply if the specific situation happens.
- Payment method. Per the Things to Know page, paying cash at delivery saves 5% versus the card-payment option, which implies a small card-processing difference either way.
In short: the number on the product page is the rental price for the unit itself. Delivery is always a separate, distance-based line item calculated at checkout – it is never bundled into the unit price shown above.
Getting an Exact Price for Your Date
Because our booking system prices rentals live based on the specific date, rental length, and current availability you select, the ranges above are accurate starting points rather than fixed quotes. The fastest way to see your exact total, including delivery, is to pick your date on the product page for the unit you’re considering, or start from our Cleveland inflatable rentals overview if you’re still deciding which category fits your event – our comparison guide on bounce houses vs. obstacle courses vs. water slides can help you narrow that down first.
Frequently Asked Questions About Bounce House and Inflatable Pricing
What is the cheapest bounce house rental in Cleveland?
Our open castle-style bounce houses (Classic Castle, Magic Castle, Princess Castle, Tropical Inferno) start at $229 for a standard rental of up to 6 hours – the lowest listed price in the bounce house category.
Is delivery included in the price?
No. Every product listing states that delivery fees are calculated separately at checkout based on your location. The prices in this guide cover the unit rental only.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. It’s applied toward your total, and the remaining balance is due before setup.
Does renting overnight or for the whole weekend cost more?
Yes. Most units are priced on three tiers – a same-day rental of up to 6 hours, an overnight rental, and a whole-weekend rental – and each tier costs more than the one before it.
Are there any hidden fees?
The core fees – the rental price and the delivery fee – are shown clearly on the product page and at checkout. Beyond that, a small number of situational fees are published on our FAQ and Things to Know pages: park fees, a fee for using a unit wet outside our wet season or on a dry-only unit, and cleaning or handling fees tied to specific policy violations (like silly string or moving equipment yourself). These only apply if the situation comes up – they aren’t part of a standard rental.
Why doesn’t this page just list one price?
Because there isn’t one. We rent four different categories of equipment in a range of sizes, and our booking system prices every rental based on the specific unit, date, and rental length you choose. This guide gives you real current ranges so you can budget before you get to checkout.
