Parma is the largest of Cleveland’s inner-ring suburbs, and it shows in the housing stock: block after block of 1950s and ’60s ranches, Cape Cods, and split-levels on modest, fenced lots — the classic postwar backyard, not a sprawling estate lawn. That matters when you’re planning a tent, because the tent that works for a wide-open field isn’t automatically the tent that works for a Parma yard bordered by a chain-link fence, a detached garage, and a neighbor’s driveway on either side. Our high-peak tents are sized and anchored with exactly that kind of space in mind — a 20-foot-wide footprint sits comfortably in most Parma backyards, and where grass isn’t an option, we can anchor to a driveway or patio instead of staking into the lawn.

Whether you’re hosting a graduation open house off Ridge Road, a family reunion near Ridgewood or Veterans Memorial Park, or a parish or school event, a rented tent gives you a defined, weatherproof space without renting a hall or hoping the forecast cooperates.

Tent Sizes and What’s Included

20×20 High Peak Tent & Package. Our 20×20 High Peak Tent is available on its own or as a package that bundles in 48 chairs and 6 tables — one order instead of coordinating a tent company and a separate table-and-chair rental. Pricing varies by size — see our Tent Packages page for current numbers. This is the size most Parma backyard parties, graduation open houses, and smaller reunions land on, since it fits comfortably within a typical fenced lot with room left over for a grill, a folding table for gifts, or a kids’ play area.

20×30, 20×40 and 20×60 High Peak Packages (larger gatherings). For bigger Parma gatherings — parish festivals, larger reunions, weddings, and school or community events that outgrow a backyard — we also rent 20×30 (with 64 chairs and 8 tables) and 20×40 (with 96 chairs and 12 tables) high-peak packages, plus a 20×60 that covers 1,200 sq. ft. with tables and chairs bundled in. Seated capacity runs 64 guests for the 20×30 and 96 for the 20×40, matching each package’s chair count. Every size links straight to its booking page above, where you’ll always see current rates.

Every package uses the same high-peak frame style — a tall, pointed roofline supported by the frame itself rather than a center pole, so you get the full floor space to work with instead of designing your layout around a pole in the middle of the tent. If you’re comparing tent styles before you book, our High-Peak Tent Rentals guide breaks down how high-peak, pole, and standard frame tents actually differ.

What Parma Families and Organizers Use a Tent For

Backyard birthdays, graduation open houses & reunions. Late spring and early summer bring graduation season across Parma City Schools and the area’s Catholic and private schools, and a tent is one of the simplest ways to turn a backyard into open-house-ready space for a few hours of family and friends moving in and out. The same setup works well for milestone birthdays, retirement parties, and reunions where you need shaded seating for more people than your patio can hold on its own. See our Backyard Party Tent Rentals and Graduation Party Tent Rentals pages for more on sizing and planning either one.

Community, church & school events. Parma’s calendar runs on neighborhood and parish events — block parties, festivals like the Parma Pierogi Festival, food drives, and gatherings at parks such as West Creek Reservation, Ridgewood Lake Park, and Veterans Memorial Park. A tent is a practical way to add covered space for a table area, registration, or seating at an outdoor community or school event without depending on an indoor rental. Our School & Community Event Tent Rentals page covers planning details specific to that kind of setup.

Weddings and larger milestone events. For a backyard or family-property wedding, or a larger anniversary or milestone celebration, our high-peak tents create an open, tall-ceilinged space that reads more like an actual event tent than a basic canopy. See Wedding Tent Rentals for layout and timeline guidance, and Corporate Event Tent Rentals if you’re planning something for a Parma-based business or organization instead.

Setting Up in Parma: Yards, Driveways, and Hard Surfaces

Our standard setup anchors the tent into the ground with stakes, which works best on grass or soil. Because a lot of Parma properties are tighter, older lots — some with more concrete, asphalt, or paver space (driveways, patios, parking areas) relative to open lawn than you’d find in a newer-built suburb — we also offer add-on anchoring with concrete blocks or water barrels as a weighted alternative to stakes. That opens up setups on hard surfaces where staking simply isn’t possible. We’re continuing to build out our supply of this anchoring equipment, so ask us about hard-surface setup when you request a quote and we’ll confirm the right approach for your driveway, patio, or paved space.

Before you book, it’s worth walking your own space the way you’d walk it for any outdoor project: check for a gate or side-yard path wide enough for our crew to bring materials through, note where fences, sheds, or a detached garage might limit tent placement, and mark anything underground you know about (sprinkler lines, invisible fencing) if we’ll be staking. Mentioning your surface type — grass, driveway, or a mix — when you request a quote helps us plan the right anchoring from the start instead of adjusting on setup day.

What to Expect: Delivery, Setup Timing & Weather

Tent setup isn’t a same-day, in-and-out service. Tents are typically delivered and set up one to three days before your event, then taken down one to three days after — which means your tent is already standing, not being assembled, when your guests arrive. Plan any yard prep (mowing, clearing furniture or toys, moving vehicles off the driveway if that’s where we’re anchoring) for a day or two ahead of your scheduled setup rather than the morning of your event.

Weather planning for a tent rental is handled separately from our bounce house rain policy — the two aren’t the same, since a staked or anchored tent responds differently to wind and rain than an inflatable does. Normal rain and heat aren’t reasons to cancel, since a properly set-up tent still holds up fine in both; we’ll only delay, modify, or cancel a setup, at no cancellation fee, for genuinely unsafe conditions like sustained or gusting winds over about 20 mph, lightning, or hail. If you cancel on your own for ordinary forecasted rain, our standard cancellation policy applies. Ask us directly when you request your quote, and we’ll walk through it for your date.

Tables and Chairs — Package-Only, Not Sold Separately

Tables and chairs come with our tent packages — they’re not something we rent on their own. If your Parma event needs seating along with a tent, the package (tent, tables, and chairs together) is the way to get all of it in one order rather than coordinating a separate table-and-chair rental on top of the tent. If you already own tables and chairs and only need the tent itself, the bare 20×20 tent rental is available on its own — see our Tent Packages page for current pricing.

Serving Parma and the Surrounding Communities

As one of Cuyahoga County’s largest and closest-in suburbs, Parma sits well within our regular Cleveland-area delivery routes — you’re not on the edge of our service area, you’re squarely inside it. We also regularly deliver tents to nearby communities including Parma Heights, Brooklyn, Strongsville, and the broader Cleveland area. If you’re also considering an inflatable for the same event — a bounce house or water slide alongside the tent — take a look at our bounce house rental page for Parma as well.

Good To Know

Parma Tent Rental FAQs

What size tent do I need for my Parma event?

Seated capacity follows the chairs included in each package: the 20×20 seats up to 48 guests, the 20×30 up to 64, and the 20×40 up to 96. The 20×60 is our largest at 1,200 square feet of covered space. If you are adding a buffet table, DJ, or dance floor, size up — or tell us your guest count when you request a quote and we will help you land on the right size.

Do you deliver and set up tents in Parma, Ohio?

Yes — Parma is well within our regular Cleveland-area delivery and setup routes.

What tent sizes are available?

Currently 20×20, 20×30, 20×40, and 20×60 high-peak tents, each available alone or as a package with matching tables and chairs.

How much yard space do I need for a tent?

A 20×20 tent needs roughly a 20-by-20-foot clear, flat area plus a few feet of buffer around the perimeter for stakes or anchors, and seats up to 48 guests. The 20×30 and 20×40 scale up from there, seating up to 64 and 96 guests respectively.

Can you set up a tent on my driveway or patio instead of the grass?

In many cases, yes — we offer add-on anchoring with concrete blocks or water barrels as an alternative to ground stakes, which can work on hard surfaces like driveways, patios, or pavers. We’re actively adding to this anchoring equipment, so just ask us about hard-surface setup and tell us your surface type when you request a quote so we can confirm it for your setup.

Do you need to know where utility lines are?

Yes — we stake tents into the ground, so we need to avoid buried irrigation, invisible dog fence, and utility lines. Let us know about anything underground when you book, and we’ll plan the placement around it.

Do you rent tables and chairs without a tent?

No — tables and chairs are only available as part of a tent package, not as a standalone rental.

How far in advance is the tent set up before my event?

Tents are typically delivered and set up one to three days before your event and picked up one to three days after — not the same day as your party.

What if it rains on my event day?

Tent weather policy is different from our bounce house rain policy. Normal rain and heat aren’t grounds for cancellation, since a properly set-up tent still functions fine in both — we’ll only delay, modify, or cancel a setup, at no cancellation fee, for genuinely unsafe conditions like sustained or gusting winds over about 20 mph, lightning, or hail. If you cancel on your own for ordinary forecasted rain, our standard cancellation policy applies. Ask us directly when you request your quote for the full details.

Do you offer lighting or side walls?

Yes, both are available as add-ons — useful for evening events or extra wind, sun, and privacy coverage.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We ask for at least 5 days’ notice, with no minimum order required. Graduation season (late spring) and peak summer weekends book up fastest, so earlier requests give you more flexibility on scheduling.

How much does a tent rental cost in Parma?

Pricing varies by tent size and whether you choose the tent alone or a package with tables and chairs — see our Tent Packages page for current numbers on the 20×20, 20×30, 20×40, and 20×60.

Do you also rent bounce houses in Parma?

Yes — see our separate bounce house rental page for Parma, OH for inflatables, water slides, and other party rentals.
